The Théâtre des Origines has been performing in the street for fifteen years in close contact with communities, re-establishing and reinventing seasonal rituals. From Carnival to Martror, the Festival of the Dead, the Théâtre des Origines encourages its audience to reflect on the relationship between Man, Nature and the City.
Between carnival tradition and awareness of our intangible heritage, the Théâtre des Origines takes to the streets with an itinerant, inter-disciplinary and interactive performance designed to bring alive a popular theatre alternating between creation and tradition.
